Breeding King Snakes

Snakes -> King Snakes -> Breeding King Snakes

Breeding king snakes can be carried out almost identically to our advice on breeding corn snakes though some people argue that a lower winter cooling temperature should be used.

And please remember that great care should be taken when actually undergoing the act of breeding.

Rather than leaving the adult snakes together for a week ot so it is probably safer to add the male to the female's cage then watch carefully for 30-60 minutes or until you've seen them mate then remove the male to prevent any fighting or cannibalism.

Just do this for a little whil each evening over a few days till you have observed a number of successful matings.
